The Polish programme POWER, in the “Saving Nature Saving Future” project visited the city of Porto this Sunday.
The main goal of this project is to make the participants of the project aware of the threats to the environment resulting of the development in the 21st century, to raise the participants’ sensitivity to the surrounding nature and to make participants aware of the importance of themselves in the process of environmental protection.
The students caught the subway at the station of Póvoa de Varzim. We arrived at Porto at the Trindade Station, at 12:15h. Then, we walked to the Avenida dos Aliados, where it’s Porto City Hall. We continued to walk, and we visited the Estação de São Bento, the Sé do Porto (Porto’s main church), the Ferreira Borges market and the Ribeira. After that, we walked by the Ponte D. Luís I, and we saw Porto from the other side of the river. Then, we came back to the Ferreira Borges market, where we had lunch. In the afternoon, we saw the exterior of the old Livraria Lello, and we caught the subway to Póvoa de Varzim. We arrived at Póvoa de Varzim at 17:05.

Przyjechaliśmy dzisiaj do portugalskiej szkoły w związku z projektem "saving naturę saving future" , który ma na celu uświadomienie ludziom jak ważna jest dla nas przyroda i natura. Robiliśmy dziś logo dla projektu, które będzie naszym znakiem rozpoznawczym. Natomiast wczoraj byliśmy w Porto. Pojechaliśmy tam metrem. Było tam bardzo gorąco. Zwiedziliśmy te miasto robiąc wiele zdjęć, a następnie poszliśmy na obiad gdzie zjedliśmy pizzę. Gdy wróciliśmy, po krótkim odpoczynku zjedliśmy kolację, a potem wybraliśmy się na plażę gdzie oglądaliśmy zachód słońca i graliśmy w siatkówke i koszykówkę. Ten dzień mył bardzo męczący ale równie niezwykły i cudowny.
Os alunos do projeto polaco “Saving Nature Saving Future”, inserido no programa POWER, junto com alunos portugueses, visitaram a cidade do Porto no domingo passado, dia 12 de maio de 2022. A deslocação Póvoa de Varzim-Porto ocorreu de metro, com partida aproximada às 11:20h da manhã. Pararam na estação da Trindade, passearam pelos Aliados e conheceram a linda estação ferroviária de São Bento. Além disso, também ficaram a conhecer a Sé do Porto e a zona Ribeirinha onde, pelo caminho, atravessaram a Ponte D. Luís I para apreciarem a vista do Rio Douro e do Porto da cidade de V. N. Gaia. Atravessaram os Clérigos e caminharam em direção à estação de chegada. Regressaram ao Hotel Costa Verde, após a chegada do metro à Póvoa pelas 17:05h.
